  • Poop!

I know a fun topic which we all love and deal with as long as our children are in diapers!

    FUN!

Anyway, so I think you all know R had some sort of allergic exposure on Thursday. Probably pecans (yeah tree nuts! ) or coconut which were the only two ingredients we could come up with that he hadn't had. So he's being tested for all tree nuts and coconut on 12/27.

But the reason I'm writing this question is that since Friday afternoon his BM's have not been normal. Before Thursday he was a one poop/day kind of guy. Now he's pooping first thing in the morning, which was his norm, plus at least once more if not twice more per day after lunch and/or dinner. They're not diarrhea runny but I would say they are softer then they should be since he is on all table food and whole milk.

DH made the comment that his body might still be working out some of the reaction but I find that hard to believe 4 days later.

    Any suggestions?

I agree with your DH that he's probably still settling his system. But I've had good luck with probiotics for my boys. Culturelle is the brand I used.

I would tend to agree with B on this one. But S has her own tricky issues... I cannot wait until poop is not something I think about daily.

He gets a Activia every morning for breakfast so I think he's good on the probiotics. I guess I'll just see if he goes back to regular in the next few days.

        Thanks!

I missed the whole allergy episode! Gotta go back and read!
I agree--I think it's lingering poop finally working its way out.

Poop was the last straw that made us pursue allergy testing.

I hope everything works its way out of his system soon!
