Mr. Brown can moo is great! Also the foot book. Some of those "Dr. Seuss" books aren't really dr. Seuss and you can tell...they just aren't as good.

Jack and Jill or any sort of fun rhyming books- all 3 girls have loved poems and rhythm things, ...
Later, the Corduroy books, The Giant Jam Sandwich, Caps for Sale, Animals Should Definitely Not Wear Clothing, the Gruffalo, Where the Wild Things Are, Madeline... to name a few, !

Dr. Seuss is always good and there are several of his books in a shorter board book format. But Sandra Boynton will always be my fav. Moo, Baa, La La La is a favorite. I also really like the series about Gossie the Gosling. Very cute books.
Sophie loves to read whereas Caleb had to be straped down to read to him when he was the same age.Kris
