  • Gross but effective!

We just discovered this new nose aspirator called the nose Frieda....it's gross because you use your mouth to suction but no mucous comes near your mouth but it's great for e and s! We've gotten much better sleep nights during cold season with this. Unfortunately it's only sold in 3 places, whole foods, online and some other store not in our area. Any one else use this?

I saw it the other day and wondered how it could possibly work. I didn't realize you used your mouth to suction. It looks like a syringe cylinder with an iv tube attached. Neat. Maybe I'll get it for P. The bulb syringe we have works great for the boys, but I cannot get suction on her nose! And she's been snotty since birth. I've just been dropping saline into her nose and letting her sneeze it out....which is gross!

Hummm I may have to go check it out at whole foods. Like Michele. Can't get the bulb in A's nose very well

Don't have one but they're all the rage on my parenting board.

Our pediatrician recommended it to us and we LOVE it! Best baby product ever!! Note however - order extra filters! We change ours roughly once per week and wash it out after every use. It isn't really gross because there is a filter there, you never come into contact with the mucus. It is also way way easier to restrain the baby. A actually smiles at us when we finish with it (she isn't a fan of the saline). We do it each morning and evening.

If you don't have one - I promise, you'll love it.

ETA: We got ours on Target.com I think.

Sounds awesome! O always hated the bulb and was always snotty & congested.
