They look great! This is a 4-page thread, I think we need a little more detail on how the "doing" went!

I had mine done when I was a baby -- since I didn't grow hair until I was about four, I am immensely grateful that I have pictures that look like a little girl not a little boy!

Also, I love babies with pierced ears...I think they're adorable!

Aww, so cute! I'd do DD's in a heartbeat if my mom wouldn't murder me for it.

DH's grandma really really wanted them pierced "like a pretty little Italian baby". I was fine with it - DH was the lone hold-out. He wanted to wait until she could decide for herself. Grandma pulled the "I'll be dead by then" card

Fast-forward to this past week when we were in the 'Burgh visiting. We decided to go to Claire's after talking to our ped. Myself, DH, Grandma, and MIL's cousin all went. A was sound asleep when they marked her ears, but the woke up. I held her on my lap, DH had the head, and she cried (but didn't really scream). Grandma and the cousin couldn't watch A didn't really cry/scream extra when the actual piercing took place - she was just pissed that we were holding her so tight. DH is happy we got it done now!

It was a good experience for sure: something special she got to do with great-grandma, and not traumatic!

Oh - and when DH said he wanted her to make her own decision, I asked him if he would have his sons circumcised...that put it in perspective

Very pretty! It would probably make N look more like a girl too, but DH would be 100% against it. Haha and I still have virgin ears at 24

Dh is TOTALLY against it (and I sort of am too but don't care that much). 13th birthday present is our plan.

Mine were virgin until I was 19! My mother is so ridiculously against it, as long as I lived under her roof I wasn't allowed to get my ears pierced. I have two now
