  • The toothless wonder no more!

FINALLY, at nearly 14 months DD has broken her first tooth! Of course she didn't break through the "normal" first teeth (bottom lower) she broke through the upper lateral incisor (next to front teeth) on the left side. Weird! I thought something was up because the last 3 days or so she has been what I call a "super cranky lady" and now I know why! I still can't believe it's taken this long for a tooth, but I'm glad because we have choking/gagging incidents more often than I'd like because she swallows things whole... Now I wonder how long it will take for the others to come in. From what I've heard/read, kids who teeth late tend to get them in rapid succession thereafter. We'll see!

Yay! I hope the others follow quickly, but without making her feel too bad.

That's so funny that she broke lateral teeth first. Must be super-cute.

I heard teeth that come in late are healthier. Hope so for you!

Cute - Sophie got her later incisors in first as well - we called her fangs as well!
