Dh put Josie to bed last night at around 8:30. When I got home at about 9:30 after Kate's soccer game, she was jumping in her crib, making all sorts of noise...

He had given her 6 chocolate covered espresso beans before bed. LOL. Poor girl was exhausted today. Usually she goes to bed at 7:30 and she's down...

She loves coffee. She'll drink it black even! But straight coffee beans. That's a good caffeine kick.

(yes, I have given her coffee before. this is baby #5 and I'm beyond all lectures lol... If giving her a sip means I can drink in peace, I'll do it.)

That's hilarious. I am 26 and I can only manage coffee heavily doctored with cream/milk...she's a trooper!

(When I saw the subject of this thread (chocolate covered espresso beans) and then noticed the section it was posted in (Infants and Toddlers), I was immediately intrigued. )

No judgement here. I let Mattie have a sip of mine last week. I knew (ir figured) she wouldn't like it, and wanted to get her off my back so I could drink it in peace.

No judgments from this camp, either. My oldest (15 y/o) loooooves coffee and has since she was about 10. We're true PNW peeps 'round here.

Tee hee! I'd be worried, too! I can't handle caffeine after mid-afternoon.
