  • athlete's foot?

I think dd has athlete's foot! She's always wanting me to scratch her toes, and I just noticed that they're flaking and red.

Does anyone have a product that they use on their kiddos?

Could it be eczema? Or something else? I didn't know children got athlete's foot -- *babydummy*

Just saw a related thread below that BonBon's son had this. I'll try Lamisil -- looks like it worked for her son.
I've never had athlete's foot, but dh seems to think that this is what it is (took a picture for him to look at).

Athletes foot, cradle cap, diaper rash jock itch, it's all similar. Just a skin yeast infection...it's a different yeast (usually Malassezia) than vaginal yeast (Candida)....but it's all the same. Antifungals good hygiene and airing the area out.

LOL, I clicked to pipe in, but you already saw my ancient post. Lamisil worked great. Hope it works for her and goes away soon. When I get it now, I spritz my feet with vinegar and rub it in. Works just as well as lamisil or any of the other antifungal creams.

Dh got off of work before I left the house, so I asked him to pick up some Lamisil on his way home.

He bought a spray (comes out in a spray but turns powdery on contact). Holy moly was dd PISSED! I don't know if it stung her or if it was cold or what, but she was very unhappy, which led to---vomiting.

So, I'll pick up some cream tomorrow. Just thought I'd send out an FYI about my toddler not liking the spray can!

The generic should work as well. We use clotrimizole for S's yeast rashes all the time.
