  • Post-Delivery Question

I have occasional soreness in the area where I had my epidural. When it gets sore, I can feel exactly where they inserted the line. Is this normal? DH says it's a minimal scar and will go away in time. Mostly, it just makes me feel yucky. Thanks, guys

My epidural spot always hurt worse than the episiotomy and rest of the areas. My epidural was the only reason I took any meds after the deliveries. It should get better.

I never experienced the phenomenon, but have had many friends who gave the same description. From what they've said, it eventually diminished.

Yes, normal! My friend felt hers 3 months out, and described it as a tingly sensation at that point. It eventually goes away.

11 years after my spinal from delivering my 2nd kid, I can tell you exactly where that needle went in. At times, it feels like an electrical current is shooting from the spot up my spine. It's quite lovely.

Wow. I didn't realize this occurred. I had a spinal for my csection & I didn't have any sensation at all from where it was administered.
