  • M cracks me up

My daughter (22 months on July 1) caught her reflection in a shop window today and said "Oh wow.... Nice!"

She also has a set of dinosaur flash cards (Wee Gallery) from when she was a baby. She calls the T-Rex "papa," and has designated the Stegosaurus "mama." The latter is of course depicted as an especially stout, plump Stegosaurus.

I love this age! They are fearless, stubborn, inquisitive creatures. I didn't like the baby stage at all, and am really enjoying watching this little person learn about the world around her. Her English is more dominant than her German, but today I was eating blueberries and she came up to me and said "yummmmm, lecker!" (That's the German word for yummy).

She's as crazy as ever, but I feel so lucky to be her mom.

So cute! We only know English, but I crack up when DS is eating and starts saying "Om nom nom nom!" (Yes, I taught him that...)
