I don't even blink when patients bring children to their appointments. I've done a physical on one of my patients with 18 month old twins in the room. It took longer, but was very doable.

Well, I made it through my 6 week checkup with the baby in tow. As expected, she woke up hungry as soon as we walked into the office. Luckily I had time to feed her before the midwife came into the exam room, but when she came in I was rocking the stroller back and forth with one hand and holding the modesty sheet around my waist with the other! Then she started crying during the exam. The midwife was nice enough to pick her up and walk her around the office while I got dressed...then I noticed N had a blowout (requiring a clothing change) and had to warn the midwife to be careful where she put her hand. What can I say, my daughter knows how to get attention
It didn't phase any of the office staff or midwife, though. I got the feeling this wasn't anything new to them.Married to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

Haha sounds a lot like mine, but with both kids (and fortunately no blowout!) When the doctor came in, I was standing at the stroller, holding up my sheet with an elbow, holding DD in one arm, and trying to pull up a Thomas video on YouTube on my phone with the other. It... wasn't my best moment...
