The day does go by so much faster if we get out of the house.

We have aquarium and zoo memberships which are great, because we usually only go for about 30-45 minutes each time. Admission to these places is $18, so if M doesn't want to stay for very long I don't feel like I'm losing money.

Where do you go for music, dance, gymnastics, playgroups?

I would highly recommend Music Together for music classes! I did them for 2 years with DS and am starting this month with DD! They usually have trial classes at the beginning of each session where you can check it out because you do have to sign up for 10 week sessions at a time. I googled and they are in your city but I won't post the link since we are in the public forum.

I found some really active playgroups through meetup. The groups were very careful about screening too so they can be assured that they are not inviting pedophiles to their kids' activities.

I like playgroups, but I do like the structured nature of classes with a specific goal in mind (music, dance, tumbling). The goal of getting them to take a good nap.
