  • Droopy eyelid

When AM woke up this morning I notice that her right eyelid was really droopy. Any thoughts? Should I call ped or see how it does through the day. It is already a little better since she woke up. Can ptosis develop overnight?

Bottom or top lid? Is it swollen? Red?
Could be a sty that has yet to come to a head.

Call a Ped Ophtho if there is one in your area. I'm generally pretty relaxed about kid stuff but I'm more paranoid about eyes.

Yes. They were not worried. Said it was likely because she slept on that side (which when I looked in monitor before she woke up she was on that side of her face). If it happens again I'm supposed to call back. BTW. She slept from 5pm-8:25am this morning. That's what happens when she doesn't get a nap!!

No droopy eyelid this morning or following any naps. Seems like a one time thing
