So A has been having several potty incidents the last few weeks. The two days before her surgery last week she wet herself several times, no warning, no telling me she needed to go, nothing until she was soaked. Then Friday she had her surgery and was incident free all weekend while she recovered. Since then she has been doing a lot of telling me she needs to go but not going until I go with her whereas before she was doing a great job of going completely by herself. I make a HUGE deal out of it when she goes COMPLETELY by herself.
Today was pajama day at school so she got up and changed from her pull-up into regular panties and went to school just like that, before we left the house she went in and went potty.
When I picked her up she was in her extra set of clothes which means she had an accident. It was in the gym, during recess time. Again, no warning, no telling anyone just completely wet herself and then had to change.
She is not potty trained at night, I'm still hopeful that her surgery will help with that since she did not have a regular sleep pattern before the surgery but seems to be doing much better now. She just finished her last dose of amoxicillan last night but I really don't think that is the issue.
Anyway, she's been potty trained for over a year and a half. She's 4 years and 1 month old - I'm just wondering if I should be looking for some other issue since this keeps happening ?!?!??
