So, I know someone just recently posted about convertible car seats, so I'm sorry to bore everyone by bringing it up again, but I have some questions re: convertible car seats and airports (ugh!)
Currently, I have the infant seat in the stroller (like a travel system type situation) and I gate check the car seat and stroller. However, I realize that once I have the convertible car seat, I will only be able to gate check either the car seat or the stroller because I will not be able to manage dragging them both through the airport (I often have to travel with the baby without my husband). So do I gate check the stroller and check the car seat with my suitcase, or do I get those wheel things to wheel the car seat, and then gate check the car seat? Since my daughter is only 6 months, I keep her on my lap during the flight, so I have no need for the car seat on the plane. Just curious to find out what you ladies do and why. Travelling with baby is so complicated! Just when you think you have everything figured out, something changes (ie. need for new car seat!)
