    "5 S's" for easing pain from injections

    I came across this article during lunch today and it reminded me of the recent colic/fussy baby discussion, although this study was focusing on relieving pain from vaccine injections. Thought y'all might be interested in seeing it.

      Dang...I was hoping there was something here I could use before my dental appointment tomorrow, but it looks like I'm out of luck! Although maybe I can justify some sugar beforehand? The shots in the front gums hurt

        Lol ST, I now have a mental image of you wrapping yourself up in jacket, bouncing up and down and sucking on your thumb in the middle of the dentist's office. Maybe grab a lollipop beforehand - sugar and sucking!

            DH and I have talked about swaddling each other in a flat sheet to see what it's like!
