Hubby decided with baby being so upset over him working so much that he needed to take some time off so we are taking a family vacation with baby girl- not easy on a resident's salary but necessary! It is just for a few days but I am so excited!
I'm in Orlando!!! Let me know if you want your first iMSN meetup.
Have fun!
I am sorry, we didn't have our lap top with us- we left it behind to try to have time away...they still called and texted him but at least they couldn't call him in ...maybe we can meet up next time? We had one day at Disney and one at Sea World- lots of fun
We stayed at the Disney resort using our military discount and we had an old pass so we only paid for one of us to get in...Sea World was free with our military id so it only cost us an arm and they let us keep our leg Magic Kingdom was a huge hit! We rode Dumbo x2, Small World x3, Magic Carpet x2, Carousel x3, Winnie the Pooh x2, Peter Pan and Pirates only once as those scared her, and then went to meet Tinker Bell and see the Mickey 3D show- she had a great time- and rode on daddy's shoulders the whole time- the stroller wound up being used to carry her diaper bag lol! Sea World was free so you can't get better than that.... I am so glad we went as I don't think we get any time off this year as it is his research year...Good family memories though!
Next time look into the shades of green hotel-- it's right on property (across from the polynesian) and rooms are big and very comfortable-- the price is around $120 a night depending on your rank.
Sigh. I love shades of green and Disney. Exhausting-- but fun.
And I have ONLY met vanquished IRL. She's my only actual imsner I've met bc I'm always so slammed on Amy "vacation" with watching my own kids and organizing the trip usually for multiple families bc whenever we go anywhere my parents and sister usually end up coming along... But I did meet vanquisher and she is just the most gracious person ever!!!
Anyway really glad you got some Disney magic!!!
We never met tinker bell-- we've been to Disney 3 times... Hmmmm.
Peggy
Aloha from paradise! And the other side of training!
I am sorry I didn't have internet there as I would have loved to have met you, Vanquisher! We opted for the Pop Century as it was way cheaper than Shades of Green- there are just the 3 of us and it cost us less than $65 a night hubby says we'll do Shades of Green once he is making more money- after residency- I have heard it is really nice!
