              So I wanted to let you all know that things are moving along. We are having a little dinner pizza and cake party on Wednesday. His friend at school is coming as well as another boy we met and had a play date with last week who happens to live just two blocks away. O wants to invite other kids from his class but he doesn't know their names and I have no idea who they are. O-well! We are going to invite a couple of neighbors as well. On Saturday O and I went and got some decorations and I plan on making cookies for his class and making a chocolate cake for that evening. Should be fun.
              Wife to Hand Surgeon just out of training, mom to two lovely kittys and little boy, O, born in Sept 08.

                  I'm not sure yet, but we may be able to come. Sadly I lost my babysitter for the Fredericksburg weekend

                    Sounds like he'll have a great time!

                    Did you get cheap party hats? My nephew is convinced that every birthday party needs party hats. It's awesome!

                      Well I'm having second thoughts due to distance. I'm not sure I or O can handle driving 3 hr each way. Is it less than that to your house from Okc? I'm a terrible long distance driver.

                        Aww darn! It'd be almost 3 hours. We could try for a park or something in Ardmore? Or you guys could spend the night here to split up the driving into two days.

                          Ok, I have to officially cancel. It's too far to drive and now O has a birthday party for a classmate to attend. We still need a meet up though. Maybe we could do one in Dallas & O & I could fly down (assuming there are cheap flights) for a day or two.
