Finally ordered a new big girl bed for DD. Now need to get her a twin mattress but have no idea what firmness it should be. Just asked DH his opinion and his reply was, "Why don't you go to your favorite source? Aren't they all knowing?" So I need advice from my all knowing friends.

Honestly, in my experience, it doesn't matter. She is too small to put much pressure on it.

Costco has nice ones for $150

Thanks everyone. The nearest Costo is almost an hour away, so I ordered the cheapest mattress from Sears. Should be here this weekend. DD has been asking for a new bed for a while now and destroying the crib in the hopes of speeding up the process.
