  • Undershirts

Where the heck do you buy these things? In looking for undershirts for my dd. She takes off sweaters and cardigans at school. The school is in an old house and runs pretty cold IMO. I'm looking for camisole "wife beaters" for little girls--does anyone know where to get them?

It IS a piece of mil advice actually! After dh told her that she takes off sweaters, she suggested undershirts.

I think Hanna Andersson carries nice undershirts.

I just get the cheapies from Walmart or Target. They grow so fast that it isn't worth paying for more expensive stuff, to me anyway!

I bought a few from fruit of the loom on amazon and we'll see how it goes! But thanks for the tip, Pollyanna. Mini boden has cute ones but they're all out--waaaay too expensive anyway!

For an underlayer I often use some American Apparel t-shirts that run a little tight. They're solid colored and cute when they peek out under her clothes. But we've also got some little ribbed Old Navy tank tops that work well for that purpose.

LOL! I did say "peek out under *her* clothes". DD usually likes to wear long sleeved shirts and knit or fleece pants, or else long sleeved play dresses and knit pants. But if she wants to wear a sweater, or one-piece footie pajama, or a short-sleeved dress, then I make her wear the size 2 American Apparel tees as well (she's a size 3-4). When the weather wasn't quite so frigid, I had some size 18-24M Old Navy tank tops that were handed down to us that fit the bill.
