  • Gifts for 4yo boy

So, we have a bday party to go to tomorrow. I found a gift on Amazon, but forgot to order it until last night. Boo. Any gift ideas for a 4yo boy? It's a superhero party...

Imaginext stuff. Search on amazon and choose your hero and price point.

These are things our dude loved at that age:

          - Thomas the tank engine (and I still hate that fucker)
          - Legos/Duplos
          - trains
          - Matchbox cars
          - GameBoy

Kai is 4. He still loves Cars and Mater, he's also into Angry Birds still....and Spiderman and TMNT and superheroes.
He's getting very into games....things like War, Chutes and Ladders, CandyLand, etc.

Definitely likes imaginative play with figurines and castles. And Legos and building things are still popular. My mom bought these magnetic builders that he loves...Magformers...no idea where she got them though. Oh and he still my kid who builds train tracks...we have the GeoTracks and remote control Cars characters that work on the tracks....loves them.

              -A toy gun
-Anything that could be used as a toy gun
-An action figure holding a toy gun
              -Anything that explodes by design
-Anything that could be used to create an explosion
-Anything that could be considered "second best" to a gun or an explosion--for example, bow and arrow.

-Anything else. Gender-neutral is the worst. My son HATED any "non-boy" toys. It's like he could smell an agenda.

              or

              Legos. Always a winner.

Understand, you cannot actually GIVE any of the gifts boys would really like (guns and other weapons) unless you specifically know that the parents are OK with that. Otherwise, you will be persona nongrata PDQ.

                We ended up getting this:

And an extra figure pack. We also have slim pickings as far as places for toys (Walmart and Target). Thanks for the ideas! They were very helpful
