My dear friend and her DH are currently in the ER with their 13 month old after an anaphylactic PB reaction Obviously, their DD is in good hands, but mom and dad are obviously shaken!

Just got a txt from her:
"So it got a lot worse right after neighbors left. She turned pale and was passing out. Good news is that she appears to be ok now after an epi/Benadryl/steroid/Pepcid shots. They are keeping her overnight so we are waiting for a bed on the peds floor."

Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. I can't even imagine.

Oh no! BIG BIG hugs to all of them, seeing your child in that condition is the scariest thing in the world, trust me.

Anaphylactic allergies are absolutely terrifying and utterly life-changing. Do you have my contact info? Please feel free to give it to her.

Very scary, but a relief that she is stepping down to the floor.
