I have the PnP as close to the bed as I can - I need to be able to get out and pee I was never comfortable nursing A while laying down anyway. I'm over halfway "there" (to the 6-week mark). DH still has 4 weeks of research left, then I'm really really on my own...

And the icing on the cake today - my boob is on fire and hyper-sensitive. Go me :/

if it is still hurting in the am call your doc for a script. I had a yeast infection this last time and it felt like broken glass in my breasts. I wish I had called a day sooner because once on the meds I was fine. The fog will start lifting. Hang in there mama.

Nurse a lot lot lot on that side. If its just a plugged duct, that will really help! I had those several times after business trips with irregular pumping and I avoided mastitis by super draining the breast. And yes, call if not better in the AM.

My issues have all been oversupply issues, and we haven't tried formula, but I'm with you on not enjoying nursing very much. As my husband keeps pointing out, the baby enjoys it. And that's good and all, but still not my favorite.

We're at the 7 week mark and still waiting for *anything* to get easier. Newborns are tough stuff.

Diaper changes are easier Everything is healed, and they are a bit bigger - brand new babies are so tiny and scrunched! (I'm trying to find small bonuses )

I hope your boob is better this morning. Recurrent mastitis is why I quit breast feeding Alexia. Nursing is absolutely crushingly hard. It was for me, anyway.

The boob is much better today! It's hard to believe that DD is 4 weeks old - it is all pretty much a blur
