The crib has been converted, after DS fell in an attempt to climb out (the first and only attempt).

When did he get so big?

I'm surprised he waited so long! K1 climbed out for the first time around 22 mo, got spooked, and didn't try again until he was almost 3yo. Funny he liked his crib given that he is so adventurous in every other area. K2 started climbing out at 21 mo. For some odd reason, he decided that it was easier to climb out without his diaper. So he'd strip nekked, leap out of the crib, wake K1 (so that K1 would open the bedroom door; he couldn't reach the door knob), and then streak around the house.

I know, I'm in denial. He weighs 38 pounds and is now over 3 ft tall... Did I mention he's not even 3?

Stop, 13! Just stop with this crazy talk! I remember when we were both pregnant at the same time. Our babies are still babies, dang it. And my baby still doesn't know he can climb out of his crib and will stay there until middle school if I have my way It's going too fast, isn't it!?!

It just feels like they're so much older once the crib is gone, doesn't it? Haha and I'm an early converter (18 and 20 months), but it's such a big milestone!
