There is a coupon code circulating for the car seat covers. I'll pass it on if I see it again
I've seen it twice already.

I have had babies over a span of nine years. I've been amazed out how quickly safety and trends in baby gear change.
The new thing that I am using since my last baby three years ago is a Halo Swaddle blanket. I don't know if it's a new product, but it's new to me. DH and I cannot keep a baby swaddled. At all. The Halo blankets help parents like DH and I, who are swaddle-challenged, keep DS swaddled through the night.

The Miracle Blanket was a lifesaver. When DD grew out of that, we did a double swaddle with two Aden + Anais blankets. (Easiest just to look it up on YouTube) She was quite the Houdini.

My dd didn't like the sound of Velcro, so we couldn't use the Halo ones we had! . We put her in a Woombie, and she was in it until she was at least 3.5! My child loved to be swaddled and still asks to have her arms tucked in at bedtime.
Tell me about bottles. We used Avent, and when I look them up to see what the nipple situation is, they look so futuristic and I'm worried they won't fit the actual vessel itself (from dd). Do they mess with sizes and shapes so you can reuse them?!
I didn't even think to look up new trends, just reused everything from DD. I'm also a big Woombie fan. For bottles we used Born Free, for some reason DS wasn't crazy about Dr Brown.
Sh*t's getting real. I don't know whether to laugh or cry that my dd4 is done done done with diapers, and in 4 short months, I'll be knee-deep in them again! Don't get me wrong, I'm happy/thrilled/over-the-moon that we're having another baby, but not being a slave to diapers is so liberating!
I'm in the market for a diaper bag. I HATE them! My criteria are that it needs to be something that can stand up on its own, isn't messenger style, and isn't heavy. I don't care about material, but do like logically-placed compartments. The Storksak looks nice, but i can't expect dh to be happy carrying that!
I am going for the back pack. Its easier for hands free. My boss has this one, and I love it. It makes the diapers and wipes so easily accessible on one side and the insulated pocket for bottles that holds an ice pack on the other side. And since its a backpack, its not so bad for guys to carry.
