  • Slammed finger in door

We're on vacation and Minnie's finger got pinched in the door. I think she's okay. It was a few hours ago and we were able to console her and she is napping now. It's swollen, scraped and bruised. No huge open wound but now DH did some reading and is debating a trip to the ER. His knowledge is making him worry more then if he didn't know so much. She's moving the hand and finger but was definitely favoring her other hand. Thoughts!?

It's likely fine, but if you want to text a picture, I'll show it to Chad.

This has happened many times to my kiddos. Hugs to you--- my guess is she will be perfectly fine. With my kids I knew there was something amiss if they couldn't stop crying and couldn't move the limb/finger. Then after maybe an hour of continued crying I got concerned. But this has happened so many times in our family.
