LOL! Awesome. I think I will be aghast until the end of my days about the old lady who told my 1 week old DD that I didn't love her because she wasn't wearing a hat inside.

Seriously, old ladys can be assholes. Haven't we all been stopped by one for under dressing our baby?

I'm sure multiple times! I've been chastised by a lot of people for various indiscretions, though that was the first time someone accused me of not loving my own kid.

Maybe it's something that happens when you get older? My mom is constantly ragging on me about putting socks on the baby, etc and I know she wasn't like this when we were young

My mom is crazy about socks too. Last time she was here, I casually mentioned that the pediatrician told me not to put socks on Lambie this summer because she tends to get too hot.

I'm sorry, I refuse to put socks or shoes on babys when it's warm out.

I don't understand why anyone approaches complete strangers for ANY reason outside of a discrete, "Yo, your panties are showing because your skirt is tucked into them."

Lol. I had a group of German women give me a parenting book as a gift because I didn't put hats on Andrew indoors.
