I don't miss it
I don't hate the baby stage, but I'm feeling relieved now that BabyJ is older. I feel like I said "this is the best stage" almost every stage for N though.
12-18 months is pretty awful though. Mobile rabid hooligans that don't want to cuddleMarried to a newly minted Pediatric Rad, momma to a sweet girl and a bunch of (mostly) cute boy monsters.

MrsK --
DS1 doesn't really try to actively destroy, he does seem hell bent on crying about every thing, all the time. He also is seeking ways to escape my company or end his life by running into parking lots. And the poop.
(This is all new-ish).

I love babies, but have to say I never have the inclination to hold someone else's. My own is another story, especially #2, who I waited for for so long. And she did not disappoint. I'm getting my fill of cuddling now, because like ST said 12-18 mos is the beginning of when their only goal in life is trying to get away! Age 5 stinks--how come no one told me that that's really when little girl sass really starts? Ugh.married to an anesthesia attending

I've got to say that at 10 months, Lambie is absolutely delicious. I just want to snuggle her all day long. K1 at almost 5yo is pretty great too. At 3.5yo, K2 has his moments but he's mostly awful.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

Sigh, I love all the stages...probably should have had six more
Not that any stage is easy (far from it!!), but seeing the progression from infancy to adulthood is kind of amazing and it is such an honor to be part of that development.Tara

I just visited my sis and her new babe. She was adorable, but has some reflux and not an easy baby. Everyone is exhausted and at their breaking points. I was glad to get home to my older children. They are each so worth it, but newborns are hard!-Ladybug

K1 has suddenly graduated into big kid territory. It happened in the last couple months. It's amazing. He's like a person. We have meaningful dialog. He's too big for the playground equipment. He looks after Lambie. He fibs, tells white lies, and tries to navigate complicated social relationships. I just can't get over it.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.

Any desire I have for another baby is usually hormone driven haha.
DS was such an easy baby I'm kind of terrified of having a 'normal' baby, never mind a fussy one. I feel like there are plusses and minuses to every stage we've been through so far. I'm a little sad that he's growing up so fast but I don't miss the sleepless nights, constant feeding. DH loved the baby stage and can't wait to try for another.
DS is so much fun right now at 14 months, even if he is exhausting. He learns something new every dayStudent and Mom to an Oct 2013 boy

How is he 14 mos, MrsC?!?! Sheesh. I am still SO jealous of people with easy babies, because I feel like if I had had my easy baby first, it would have saved me a ton of those days at a cafe or restaurant where I tried to grab a sandwich, sit for a moment, M would go from 0-10 in the blink of an eye, and I'd have to yell over the screeching "YEAH! Please just pack it up for me!"But carry on, having those babies, everyone. I'm done.
We've donated all our 3-6 month clothes.
