  • play mat ?

Hey, before I buy one of these, does anyone know if these are any good? Or are they a PITA to keep clean?
Do the interlocking jobbies keep the mats together?

    Thanks!

I don't know about that one but we have this one from Sam's Club in the colors.

Costco also has similar one http://www.costco.com/ABC-and-123-Fo....11754291.html

It definitely stays together, we use it in place of carpet in our playroom, we love it.

We also have the ones from Sams, and we love it. I run the vacuum cleaner over it - brooms don't work as well. When it's dirty, I either spot clean with a washcloth or run the steam mop over it to sanitize.

Thanks, SS. It's going smack dab in the middle of our living room, so it can't have the alphabet on it. The skip hop one in gray/white/yellow would be ok, but the way it interlocks is different than the "teeth" that the ones you listed have. Hmm.

I can live with vacuuming it occasionally. Thanks!
Does it grab hair and dust like crazy?

We've had many variations of this. The plainer, the better, for exactly the reasons stated above.

I have it because e spits up and its easier to clean than carpet. But he keeps taking it apart and it drives me nuts.

We have one at my parent's house because they have real wood floors (cold and easily scratched). I would have loved to get a "solid" one, but all they had at the time was the letters

We had a HUGE basement in our old house. I used it to define zones of play for my kids, and it also had a smoother surface for cars, trains, etc than the carpet down there. We have them in our workout area because it's in an unfinished part of the basement.

Thanks, you guys. I'm going to give the skip hop one a try. M knows not to pull things apart when told not to, so we should be ok on that end, as long as the removable parts don't come dislodged themselves.

We also have one because of our hard wood floors, we didn't want to put carpet down.
