We don't know the family (well, C does - little girl goes to her 1 day a week PMO). I've never met either parent or the child herself. What do I get them? I need a generic item since I don't know anything about the child's interests but something cool enough that if the gifts were opened at the party, it would be an acceptable gift.

I was shying away from Duplo in case they had them but I could get a generic set that they wouldn't mind having two of...Married to a Urology Attending! (that is an understated exclamation point)

Ooo...Melissa and Doug have awesome play food sets. I usually find them cheaper at TJMaxx. They are a go to for me. N loves them and we always see them being used at friends' homes when we visit.

At 3yo K1 (boy) was really into the Learning Resources Gears (still plays with them) and they are super cool. I don't know how much it costs but B.Toys makes this symphony thing that is really cool too.Wife and #1 Fan of Attending Adult & Geriatric Psychiatrist.
