Dd1 was in a crib from day 1. It fit into our master bedroom at the time. They look so teeny tiny in the crib when they're newborns. We moved her out at 3 months to her own bedroom.
With dd2, we were/are in a different house, and we had to get a bassinet for her. She was only in it for about 2 months. We moved her to a crib, and I recall being a little nervous about how she'd do with the transition. She's far more adaptable than big sister was, and didn't have any problems moving to her crib and new room on the same day. "Ah ok, these are my new digs? I can live with this."married to an anesthesia attending

Ok. Thanks guys!
I did end up registering for the twin pack and play which has bassinets in case we decide to put them in our room. I think we will need it anyway when we go to my sisters wedding in November.
