You hit the jackpot - your kids are great, and your DH is very caring and good with them (from the small window I saw).

He's better with them than I am. It's just sad that when we talk about #3, everyone including my own Dad is all "make sure it's a boy". I'd love to parent children of both sexes but come ON.

Great article on Dad's having Daughters

My dad has three girls and would have been lost, not knowing what to do with a boy. DH is WAY better with the girls than our sons. BUT, my DH is not at all athletic, which I think takes off some of the pressure of wanting a boy. For those of you with daughters, you really haven't seen the best dad moment until you've watched your DH playing "Pretty Pretty Princess, the board game" and getting upset when he lands on the black ring.

Did I mention that I have a fourth nephew on the way? In a family of boys, I'm so so so happy that we have a girl.

              No idea.

In my family, you haven't arrived until you've had a boy. The constant micro aggressions against females in my family are very draining.
