  • Potty training regression

DS2 was doing so well when we started potty training a week ago, but after a couple of days of success, it started to become really difficult to get him to sit on the potty. Now he's pretty much refusing to even go into the bathroom. If I can get him on the potty (with bribes) he still goes successfully each time. This is a sign we should take a step back and hold off for a while, right? I'm fine with waiting a little longer until he's ready, but I don't want to pull back if there's some easy solution that I'm missing. He's 2y5m, if that matters.

I'd hang back, especially with new baby on the way (it saved us money in the long run once I "gave up" after DS1 regressed, post DS2's birth).
