Interrupting advice needed!

    Annie I think you are on the right track as well. We also talk about how it is rude to interrupt when people are talking and I ask him how he feels when someone interrupts when he is talking. We take a minute and try it out and then I praise his politeness when he gets it right...it is a lesson we repeat every so often, but he understands the rule enough that we don't have to always have the full conversation. I also don't always have the patience to follow through with the whole process and sharply remind him that interrupting is so rude, but I suppose we are all practicing how to be better people
