    I was that weird kid. I would not wear jeans until the fifth grade. I just didn't like how they felt. I wore those horrible matching top/bottom combos that were popular in the 80s. (This was the early 90s). Luckily they were still a little in style at the time... but I'm glad we had a school program in the fifth grade where the uniform was jeans and a DARE tshirt. I love my jeans now!

      This is what we used to do with DD2. She was AWFUL to get ready in the morning. Now she's allowed to get her own stuff ready the night before, but I retain veto power if it's not weather appropriate.
