    My sister feeds my YA addiction and has introduced me to a new series.

    Gone by Michael Grant (book one)

    I recommended it to a friend with a middle schooler (7th grade?) boy and he loved it enough to use his own money for the second book.

    It's kind of like "Lord of the Flies" meets a modern, sci-fic twist.
