    At 4? No.

    No one wanders our neighborhood unattended. Of course, we're smack dab in downtown San Antonio so to get to anyone's house there are big roads to be negotiated but even so, I'd rather take 15 minutes of my day to walk him from his friend's house. 15 minutes of my time is far better than a lifetime of misery because I didn't.

      At our old house-NEVER. Here, yes...all the time. It's one of the reasons we moved here. 5 acres of yard. Surrounded by farm land and corn fields, and on a dirt road. Have at it, kids!
