volleyball for boys?

Just wondering. Do they play where you live? We have Boys' volleyball, here in the metro DC area. I played VBall as a kid, and finally my twins are old enough to start to learn it.

Iz is going to do an instructional league this fall. She has wanted to play for a while.

I'm really just curious if any of you have boys who play Volleyball!?

J has taken volleyball classes. He's 9. He started in the 2nd grade. He's signing up again this fall. He's pretty much the only boy in the class, but enjoys it an was moved up to a higher class where he is one of the youngest kids. They have leagues out here, but they're mostly girls. DH, having grown up in So Cal, plays volleyball and wants J to play too.

This is what I wondered... Izzy played soccer on Steven's team where she was the only girl, but... I'll ask and if he wants to play, great. I love VBall, though. It's getting big for boys back in my hometown too. They at least have varsity level high school v-ball here, so someone must be playing...
