Yeah, we do mostly DIY parties.

One of our friends did one that was super fun - they used the gym at our church school and brought balls, a parachute, hula hoops, and had everyone bring their bike/ tricycle. The kids loved it!

So... I ended up asking dd what she would like to do: a party like her friend (that we recently went to) or a party with mama, papa, grandparents and uncle. She chose the latter. That said, she thinks she just had a birthday party, and declared that she's worried with a friend party that one of her friends will try to blow out her candles. Sensitive much?
