Are you teaching him or is he taking a class?

Hehe...my drivers ed teacher "disappeared" 75% of the way through the class, apparently for inappropriate comments. Fun stuff.

Kate thinks that when she drives she'll be so freeeeee... It will be sooooo fun! She has images of driving her friends around.

I don't think in Maryland she's allowed to drive anyone other than a sibling around until she's 18... They have really restrictive laws, which I haven't checked out completely, b/c she's only 14 and I prefer to keep my hand in the sand rather than contemplate kids her age being in control of a 1500 lb machine...

DD drives to school every morning (under dh's guidance). She will get her license in July, I have no idea where the time has gone. I swear it was just yesterday that she was my sweet baby and now she is driving a big red suburban!

How is that?? Our 3rd car is our old suburban which very well might be the kid car... But it's hard for even me to manage and I drive a suburban all the time! So we'll probably have DHs camry be the kid car... I'm just curious how your daughter likes driving a suburban...

She actually likes driving it better than my minivan. We let her try out both vehicles to determine which one was most comfortable for her. We for sure thought the minivan would be easier to drive, we were wrong. She seems to handle the Suburban very well and she feels more confident driving it. So I will stick with my van and dh will take my parents 18 year old suburban that is just collecting dust.
