    DH is teaching our kids too

    While trying to get through the first genetics lesson with giggly 11 & 12 year old daughters on a Sunday evening: "Shut up and listen to me. This is interesting.".

    LMAO

    Yes, he is teaching genetics to 5th & 6th grade girls. He has me teaching anatomy.

    I am wondering if their lessons will come up when they are socializing on the playground. If you could only be a fly on the wall... DS has enjoyed a few "lessons" from DH's anatomy book. Of course, the 5 year old is most impressed by anything that produces "poop" or "pee." (eyeroll)

      We found a great science series from Apologia publisher that I'm using for anatomy. Forget the Texas standards for science -- daddy is a doctor, you're learning anatomy. LOL
