Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - appropriate? It's PG-13. The outing is for incoming 7th and 8th graders (many incoming 7th are still 12). Did I mention it is a church youth group? Luckily, M doesn't want to see that movie in the theater (because we wouldn't let her anyway). My friend and I are going to let her and her BFF (my friend's daughter) and their tween sisters see Monte Carlo instead.
So, the asst for the junior high youth group asked me what was inappropriate in the movie because she hasn't seen it (DH has seen it, but I have not). I referred her to the review on Common Sense Media's website.
