  • 11 yr old girl gift help needed

Okay, help me out here. My niece is turning 11 in a few days and I want to send her something. Problem is I really don't know her well. I've meet her once. She loves gymnastics, wears skirts, runs a pet sitting business, I think likes art and has a lot of energy. My sister posted on facebook looking for a home foot massage spa thing to borrow for her birthday party. Suggestions anyone?

My 10 year old likes crafty stuff like yarn and stuff to make lanyards, books, and gift cards to her favorite clothing stores. Justice for Girls has a lot of gymnastics stuff like bags, shirts and t-shirts and flip flops.

Things our DD2 (12 y/o) goes crazy over:

      - Yarn. No, I'm not kidding.

      - Any and every boxed art/craft kit.

      - Anything relating to her sport of choice (track).

      - iTunes cards for filling her nano.

      - Board games (Bananagrams and Apples to Apples are high on the list).

My 10 year old (11 in July) loves journals to write in, quiz books (like journals with prompts-- all about me, tear up this book... Amazon has a lot of these. I trust Anerican Girl books for this kind of thing.

My dd also used an amazon gift card to buy a make your own headband set. It came with ribbons, embellishments, everything. She did it all by herself and they really turned out cute!! I would link to it but I don't know how to do that from my iPhone.

I bought my friend's 12yo a tie dye kit and it was a big hit.
