    Ugh! I am so naive it would never have occurred to me that they were using it in such a way. I know my sitter's daughter is on it because she posted a pic of dd in her Halloween costume, but I couldn't find her account when I looked.

      Going to beat a dead horse here, but I just found out about an app called Kik that many MS kids use around here which is also a workaround for teens whose parents check text messages and other social media platforms:

                Oh hey guys, I just got an advertising message from my antivirus software today -- they also have a mobile phone monitoring software that can allow you to do a LOT of remote monitoring including reading SMS messages, see which apps are using the most data, uninstall apps, view call logs, etc. Only for Android OS. Kind of extreme, but a good resource for parents who need an extreme solution? It's called Avast. And I think it's free.

                    Recently heard about snapchat. Allows you to send pics that only last a few seconds... making sexting appear "safe"
