Zoe got her first invite to go and do something with a friend. A trip to the mall of America. I had to convince her to go because of her social anxiety. The mom allowed the girl’s boyfriend to come. What a dumb fuck piece of crap. My daughter spent all day and evening talking to no one at all. She had a miserable time and this just reinforced her fear of going out with friend. I hate this other mom with a passion.

That would upset my girls huge. They have anxiety too, and worry about not having a boyfriend. Ugh.

Zoe was very sad. She also is wondering about boyfriends.

Zoe survived this better than I did. She forgave her friend and texted her all afternoon

Good for her. Sometimes it really does hurt us as parents more than our children when these
            things happen.
