    For us, the rates vary.

    Right now, I have someone who comes 1x a week...and I pay her $15/hour for 3 hours.

I alternate jobs/levels that she cleans that I have her do in order to maximize what I get out of it....

Well I currently pay my new gal $12hr for inside work and $14hr for outdoor work. She does anything I ask her to,whatever I ask...and does it well!
She's not as fast as my former cleaning person but she is way better in the quality of her work and her attention to detail is amazing.

This is all very helpful. Thanks!
This has given me some added perspective.

We pay $70 for her to clean the kitchen, floors, and bathrooms. I think she also dusts and does windows. She comes every other week and it forces us to keep the house picked up.

I was told it was high for our area, but I think cost is what you are willing to pay for something....in other words, how important is it to you. For us? VERY IMPORTANT!

I pay 8 euro an hour which is about $10-$11. Four hours per week.
