  • reupholstery - fabric over vinyl question

In my opinion, this is one of those deals where you buy a few throw pillows and a fancy blanket or throw (or a fun scarf languishing in the closet) and leave it as is. I would bet that the hob nails will still be able to be felt and it would have to be pretty substantial heavy weight upholstery material to not slip and slide on the vinyl.

Knowing not much about this but having recently received a reupholstery by phone, I think the batting would cover your arse, so to speak.

But if not, don't blame me!

It's a cool chair. I'd buy it. Who is going to be feeling for the hobnails anyway?
