Ok I love this light, it's in my price range too. But question: DH wants to know if it will be enough light. We currantly have a dome light were the prep area is, a hanging light over the bay window (my sewing nook) and a horrible flouresant light over the sink. It's hard to say what the light will look light until it's in, and well after all that work who wants to return it? Unless it's a boring hanging pendant we just can't afford 2 lights that have three lights in it. Do you think this would work? I love it, it's fun, a little differant that everything else, and it's a good price.

I want to keep the two lights under $70 if possible.

And for above the sink, what do you think of this?

Hmm...I might be a little concerned, too; it's a single 100W incandescent bulb, with no reflector above aiming any of the light down. It may well be plenty, but if you can figure out the wattage of what you've got there now, that'll give you an idea if it'll be brigher or dimmer or what. Or just put a bare 100W bulb on the end of an extension cord and hang it where you want to put this. That'll be just a *touch* brighter than what you'll get from this fixture, since there's that frosted glass betwen you and the bulb in the fixture.
