Gak! That's almost as bad as the crap we pulled off the walls of our kitchen! I'm glad you didn't have to live with it, at least!!

...and judging from the huge, completely intact pieces of wallpaper that you took pictures of, it seems like removal was effortless!

But that is exactly the wallpaper I have in my bathroom - I love it!

I don't like being subjected to large, irridescent insects while I'm wet and naked. I'm not sure why. Call it a phobia. .

This wallpaper sort of reminds me of the wallpaper in that famous short story, "The Wallpaper," by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. The one where that chick suffering postpartum depression gets sent by her DH to "rest" in the attic of her home, isn't allowed to see the child, then gets up cracking up...

I spent a year scraping wallpaper and that is worse than anything I had to scrape off. I can't wait to see after pics.

Aaaaaahhhhh, I thought I had repressed all memories of that short story. I wrote a paper on it in college.

And for the record, I do NOT like butterflies. I can't believe people actually can sleep with butterflies or dragonflies on their bed linens. *shudder* Guess it's just my crazy entomophobia again...

Niiiiccceeee, btw I thought you liked metalic colors

I'm on week three of us gutting our kitchen. Currently there are cabinet doors on the floor, sand everywhere, and I once again am wearing my paint clothes 80% of the time. We just ordered the floor for our kitchen and hallway this week! It's engineered wood we ordered for an awesome deal at Lumber Liquidators!

Although I can't see the before pictures (other than the gawd awful butterflies) the after ones look great! I especially like the decor you've got going in the living room!
