I have been googling trying to find online photos /videos/illustrated instructions on how to fit a sofa through a standard bedroom door. I have removed the door itself, and the doorway to the bedroom is dircectly across from a doorway to a bathroom...the hall is narrowish...any advice /secrest tip/ or do you know of a web address that can help show me what I might be able to try?

Stand it up on end if the length wil fit through. Otherwise, you might need to pivot it in and then stand it up after the front has cleared the doorway. (In and then up with the end....) You can remove the doorjam molding to get a few more inches. You have to pry it off and then nail it back in after. Extreme cases only.
Obviously.....I've been there. Many times.

When we got our new couch they had to remove the feet to get it through the door - good luck!Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.Comment
