look what I made!

The only holiday decoration my SO had was a porcelain snowman candle holder, so I took matters into my own hands. I asked his mom for any leftover Christmas stuff she had and she gave me a mini tree, an old wreath, a swag, some knickknacks. I went to the dollar store for some additional accessories, and this is what I put together.

Aw thanks girls. I took pictures of finished wreaths and stuff to get some ideas. I wish I was more Martha Stewart...

I really like the one on top of your wine glass rack! Was that from the MIL or the dollar store??

Great idea to get stuff like this from the family... I'll do that next year!! It just reminded me of all the extra Christmas stuff my mom has and never uses when it's Christmas time.

Just the greenery was from the MIL. I bought a package of gold pine cones, some gold ribbon, and gold berries from the dollar store, found some gold branch type thingies around my house, found a tiny gold present ornament in a bag of junk and just stuck it all in the old swag. That's all. So I guess the whole thing cost me $3.
